Time out for family time

Yesterday I wasted some time with my family.

I say wasted because there were no deadlines. No urgent needs to be met. No meetings, and only the semblance of a schedule.

Suze, my wife, thought it would be a great idea to spend some time together before the kids return to school at the end of this week.

We’ve had a busy summer holiday here in Australia. From family Christmas, to a hectic work schedule for both of us - we have largely left Josh and Em to their own devices. And when I say devices…

But yesterday was a sweet 24 hour window. Just the four of us.
