A company I’ve long admired is IDEO.
They are a global design and innovation consultancy that was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Palo Alto, California.
The founder - David Kelley - co-wrote one of my favourite books on creativity, ‘Creative Confidence’.
IDEO popularised the concept of design thinking, a problem-solving approach that emphasises empathy, ideation, and experimentation.
The process involves understanding user needs, brainstorming solutions, prototyping ideas, and iterating based on feedback.
Each year they publish a list called ‘things we’d love to redesign’ and I thought I’d share it with you here as it makes for great reading.
