If you’re only just getting back on the tools, or you’ve been back at the grind for a little while now - welcome back.

I think the statute of limitations on ‘Happy new year’ lasts until the first time you see someone IRL.

Either way, we likely haven’t spoken to each other for a bit or at all, so HNY to you.

The year ahead. SMTD… (So much to discuss).

I guess the headline for me is I’m turning 50. It’s not until late June so hold your rush to the postbox.

The interesting part of this is the reflection that takes place on a life so far. Am I half-way done? Do I raise the bat for the 50 or focus in on getting a century?

Regardless of what the scoresheet says I can already tell there will be some nostalgic reflection ahead - as well as focusing on what to come.

My first official post for the year will be at the start of Feb.

I’m going to re-share the story of the panic attack I had in December (read about it here) and more importantly what I’ve changed and am doing differently in 2026.

Suffice to say I think there’s some things there that you might also find valuable as you set your goals for the year.
